About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead UI optimisation, enforce best‑practice patterns, and ensure seamless interactions across devices.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Vue components for speed bottlenecks and refactor for faster load times
• Implement lazy‑loading, code‑splitting, and caching strategies
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts and error handling
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability under load
• Document performance metrics and provide actionable improvement reports

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Vue.js (2.x or 3.x) and Vuex/Pinia
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Ability to write automated tests using Jest or Cypress
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend builds
• Experience with server‑side rendering (Nuxt.js)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
