About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs an Android Developer to shape the mobile experience from day one. You will work with a remote‑first team, translating product concepts into a polished, high‑performance Android app.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement core app modules using Kotlin and modern Android libraries
• Integrate RESTful APIs and real‑time services for SaaS functionality
• Ensure app stability, performance, and security across diverse devices
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers in agile sprints
• Write unit and UI tests, and maintain CI pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and MVVM
• Solid understanding of Android app lifecycle, networking, and data persistence
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and Agile workflows

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Dagger/Hilt dependency injection
• Experience with Firebase or other cloud services
• Background in building SaaS‑oriented mobile products
