Backend Developer Needed for End-to-End Platform Modernization

About the role

CloudWave Digital is building a unified billing‑CRM bridge called SyncPulse. As a Backend Developer you will design and implement the core services that connect our billing platform, CRM system, and internal APIs, ensuring data consistency and real‑time updates across the ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop the SyncPulse microservice using Node.js and Express, exposing REST endpoints for billing and CRM data exchange.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas to store transaction logs, customer records, and audit trails, and write migration scripts.
• Implement secure OAuth2 token flows and JWT validation for all internal API calls.
• Create automated integration tests with Jest and SuperTest, achieving 90% coverage before each sprint.
• Set up CI pipelines in GitHub Actions to run linting, unit tests, and deploy to a Docker‑based staging environment.
• Collaborate with the frontend and DevOps teams to troubleshoot data latency issues and optimize query performance.

Must-have skills

• Strong Node.js and JavaScript experience (ES6+).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including indexing and query optimization.
• Hands‑on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker containers and CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of OAuth2/JWT authentication mechanisms.

Nice to have

• Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) for serverless functions.
