About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a focused Cybersecurity Analyst to assess, design, and implement protective measures across our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling for SaaS workloads.
• Develop and apply hardening scripts for Linux instances and container images.
• Audit IAM policies, network configurations, and data encryption settings.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Produce concise reports and remediation roadmaps for stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux hardening and system monitoring.
• Understanding of vulnerability scanning tools and incident response.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with SIEM integration and log analysis.
