About the role

DataPro Services is enhancing its data pipeline and analytics enablement for operations teams. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls directly into the pipeline, ensuring data integrity and compliance as analytics workloads scale.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and harden data ingestion and processing stages against threat vectors
• Develop security monitoring rules for real‑time pipeline alerts
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate encryption and access controls
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and produce actionable remediation plans
• Document security architecture decisions for audit readiness

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of network and endpoint security principles
• Proficiency in Python for scripting security checks
• Hands‑on experience with Linux environments and hardening
• Understanding of data pipeline technologies and analytics frameworks

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud security tools (e.g., AWS GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel)
• Experience with SIEM integration for pipeline monitoring
• Certifications such as CISSP or GSEC
