About the role

BrightMart Solutions is preparing a new app store launch and needs a focused Cybersecurity Analyst to align mobile and backend security controls. You will work closely with developers to embed protection mechanisms early in the release cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assess mobile app code and backend services for security gaps
• Design and implement secure API authentication and data encryption
• Conduct threat modeling specific to app store distribution
• Coordinate with DevOps to integrate security scanning into CI pipelines
• Document findings and provide actionable remediation steps

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of mobile security best practices
• Experience securing backend services and APIs
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation
• Solid Linux administration and hardening experience

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top Ten
• Knowledge of cloud security controls for app hosting
• Previous work on app store compliance reviews
