About the role

BlueSky Ventures is preparing a major app store launch and needs a DevOps Engineer to synchronize mobile and backend pipelines. You will ensure the infrastructure supports rapid feature rollout and seamless user experience across iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD workflows that bridge mobile build tools with backend services.
• Containerize backend micro‑services using Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes.
• Configure AWS environments for scalable API endpoints and secure storage.
• Automate monitoring, logging, and alerting for both mobile release pipelines and backend health.
• Collaborate with mobile developers to embed build artefacts into the app store deployment process.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend integration.
• Strong command of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Solid scripting abilities (Bash, Python or similar) for automation.
• Understanding of mobile release cycles and app store requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fastlane or similar mobile CI tools.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
