About the role

Orbit Labs is building a unified data flow layer called Orbit Sync to bridge its billing platform, CRM, and internal services. As a Frontend React Developer you will craft the user‑facing dashboard that visualizes integration status, error logs, and real‑time metrics. This short‑term project focuses on delivering a polished UI that empowers ops teams to monitor and troubleshoot the data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive React components for the Orbit Sync dashboard using TypeScript and Material‑UI.
• Consume internal GraphQL and REST APIs to display billing, CRM, and service health data.
• Integrate Redux Toolkit for state management and implement optimistic UI updates.
• Write unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library to achieve 80% coverage before the two‑month deadline.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and mock data during sprint planning.
• Optimize bundle size with code‑splitting and lazy loading to ensure fast load times on low‑bandwidth connections.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React (hooks, context) and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands‑on knowledge of state management libraries (Redux Toolkit or similar).
• Familiarity with REST and GraphQL API consumption.
• Experience writing automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments.
• Understanding of performance profiling tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals).
