About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need an iOS App Developer to audit, reinforce, and implement security controls in our existing iOS codebase.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security code reviews and threat modeling for iOS components
• Integrate encryption, secure storage, and authentication mechanisms
• Collaborate with backend engineers to harden REST API interactions
• Write automated tests covering security edge cases
• Document security fixes and provide knowledge transfer to the team

Must-have skills

• Strong Swift proficiency and iOS app architecture knowledge
• Experience securing mobile apps and handling sensitive data
• Deep understanding of REST API security (OAuth, token handling)
• Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10 guidelines

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions
• Knowledge of cloud security services (AWS, Azure) related to mobile backends
