Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end user experience design for complex mobile applications, from conceptualization to launch and post-release iteration.
• Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations, to deeply understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
• Translate user research findings, business requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and maintain robust mobile design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all mobile products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define product strategy, roadmap, and design solutions.
• Champion user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the entire product development lifecycle, advocating for the user at every stage.
• Perform A/B testing and analyze user data to inform design decisions and continuously optimize the mobile user experience.
• Present design concepts and articulate design rationale effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback iteratively.
• Stay abreast of the latest mobile UX/UI trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continually innovate and improve our offerings.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence and continuous learning within the team.
• Ensure all mobile designs adhere to accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate creative solutions to complex user challenges.

Requirements

• A compelling online portfolio showcasing a strong track record of successful mobile UX design projects with demonstrable impact.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) specifically in mobile application UX design for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficiency with leading design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Deep understanding of mobile-first design principles, human-computer interaction, and user-centered design methodologies.
• Expertise in conducting various user research methods and translating insights into actionable design strategies.
• Strong command of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles specific to mobile devices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
• Experience with design sprint methodologies and iterative design processes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
