About the role

NexGen Media is preparing a new app store release that tightly couples mobile front‑ends with robust backend services. We need a .NET Core Developer to shape APIs, data pipelines, and integration points that power the upcoming mobile experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement clean, scalable .NET Core micro‑services for app store features
• Integrate Azure services such as Functions, Storage, and Service Bus
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to align API contracts and performance targets
• Write unit and integration tests, maintain CI pipelines, and ensure code quality
• Participate in sprint planning and deliver incremental releases on a tight timeline

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with .NET Core and C#
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services and deployment models
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and security best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile backend patterns (push notifications, offline sync)
• Experience with Docker or container orchestration
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and CI/CD tools
