About the role

Summit Digital is building a robust data pipeline to empower operations teams with real‑time analytics. We need a Node.js Developer who can design, implement, and optimize backend services that ingest, transform, and expose data for downstream reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable Node.js micro‑services for data ingestion
• Create RESTful endpoints to serve analytics dashboards
• Implement streaming and batch processing logic using JavaScript
• Ensure data quality, error handling, and performance monitoring
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to refine requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Proficient JavaScript coding and async patterns
• Design and consumption of REST APIs
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL concepts, and analytics enablement

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP) for data processing
• Experience with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
