About the role

BlueSky Ventures is building a high‑performance backend service to support a new SaaS platform. We need a Node.js Developer to design, implement, and optimize core APIs that handle real‑time data processing and user authentication.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Integrate with MongoDB for scalable data storage.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
• Experience with MongoDB schema design and queries.
• Solid understanding of REST API principles.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Experience with serverless architectures.
