Node.js Developer Needed for Scalable Event-Driven Backend

About the role

Orbit Labs is launching an integration project that will link billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Node.js Developer who can design and implement reliable middleware to synchronize data across systems while maintaining performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expose RESTful services using Node.js and Express
• Map and transform data between billing, CRM, and internal APIs
• Implement authentication, error handling, and logging mechanisms
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to define integration requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Proficient JavaScript programming
• Design and consume REST APIs
• Understanding of asynchronous patterns and error handling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing or CRM platforms
• Experience with Docker or containerization
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
