Node.js Developer Needed for Service Layer Rewrite Sprint

About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a sprint to automate CI/CD pipelines and platform releases. We need a Node.js Developer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automation scripts that accelerate delivery cycles while maintaining reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Create reusable Node.js scripts for environment provisioning and deployment
• Integrate automated testing and code quality checks into the pipeline
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA engineers to streamline release processes
• Document automation procedures and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling
• Proficiency in JavaScript and building REST APIs
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration basics

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Background in performance monitoring and logging
