About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and optimize the core services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable ETL pipelines using Python
• Develop RESTful APIs to serve processed data to internal dashboards
• Integrate with PostgreSQL for reliable storage and query performance
• Implement data validation, error handling, and logging mechanisms
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to refine data models

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django or Flask for API development
• Deep understanding of REST API design principles
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL schema design and optimization

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Airflow or similar workflow orchestrators
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
