Python Backend Developer Needed for Multi-Region Queue Worker Setup

About the role

We are creating a robust data pipeline that feeds analytics to operations teams. The Python Backend Developer will design, implement, and maintain services that ingest, transform, and expose data for real‑time insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable ETL jobs using Python and Django
• Design RESTful APIs to serve processed data to internal dashboards
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for high‑volume workloads
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipeline health
• Collaborate with data analysts and ops engineers to refine requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong Python development experience
• Proficiency with Django REST framework
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL design and tuning
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and async processing

Nice to have

• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
