About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is expanding a B2B SaaS platform with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and ship isolated tenant capabilities while preserving existing performance and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop multi‑tenant data models in PostgreSQL
• Build robust REST APIs with Django to expose tenant‑specific endpoints
• Implement authentication, authorization, and quota enforcement per tenant
• Write unit and integration tests, ensure high code coverage
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to refine requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong Python experience, preferably 3+ years
• Deep knowledge of Django and its ORM
• Design and consumption of RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL schema design and migrations

Nice to have

• Experience with multi‑tenant SaaS architectures
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of async programming (asyncio, Celery)
