About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Freelance QA Software Tester to design and execute test plans that guarantee data integrity, performance, and usability across the end‑to‑end flow.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive manual and automated test cases for ETL processes, data validation, and dashboard visualizations.
• Execute functional, regression, and load testing on data ingestion and transformation components.
• Collaborate with data engineers to identify edge cases and implement test data generation scripts.
• Track defects, report findings, and verify fixes in iterative sprints.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in QA testing of data‑intensive applications.
• Proficiency with Selenium for UI automation and API testing.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, SQL, and analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for automated test suites.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
