About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a new SaaS product and needs a focused QA Software Tester to uplift test automation and cut regression risk before release. You will partner with developers and product owners to embed automated checks early in the pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Selenium‑based test suites for core workflows
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates
• Identify flaky tests, maintain test data, and ensure reliable execution
• Collaborate on test strategy, prioritize high‑impact scenarios, and report findings
• Document test cases, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test frameworks
• Strong understanding of QA best practices and test automation design
• Ability to write clear, maintainable test scripts in a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Experience integrating tests with CI tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber
• Exposure to performance testing tools
• Knowledge of cloud‑based testing environments
