About the role

SwiftTask Agency is launching a new SaaS product that relies on fast, secure data exchange. We need a REST API Developer to design, build, and optimise endpoints that power our frontend and third‑party integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services using NodeJS
• Write clean, maintainable JavaScript code
• Integrate with PostgreSQL for data persistence
• Ensure API security, performance, and proper documentation
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to meet sprint goals

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design
• Understanding of authentication (JWT/OAuth) and error handling

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or containerisation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman
