About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted Android applications. We need an experienced Android Developer to audit, redesign, and implement robust security controls while maintaining performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and code reviews focused on data protection
• Integrate encryption, secure storage, and runtime protection libraries
• Implement secure authentication flows and API communication
• Collaborate with backend teams to align security standards across services
• Document security guidelines and provide knowledge transfer to internal engineers

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Android development experience
• Deep knowledge of Android security best practices
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with SSL pinning, ProGuard/R8, and secure networking

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience in CI/CD security automation
