Senior Android Developer Needed for Mobile Offline Sync Upgrade

About the role

We are launching a greenfield SaaS product and need an Android Developer to shape the mobile experience from day one. You will work with a remote‑first, agile team, translating product visions into high‑quality Android code while maintaining rapid iteration cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement core app modules for a new SaaS platform
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure pixel‑perfect experiences
• Integrate RESTful APIs, handle authentication, and manage offline data sync
• Write unit and UI tests, enforce code quality, and conduct peer reviews
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous delivery processes

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Android development experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with REST/JSON, OAuth, and offline caching strategies
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Compose UI toolkit
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
• Background in cloud‑based SaaS products
