About the role

CoreData Systems is modernizing a legacy production platform with a zero‑downtime target. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the migration while ensuring continuous availability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) for the legacy lift‑and‑shift.
• Containerize existing workloads with Docker and orchestrate via ECS/EKS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using CloudFormation or Terraform to automate releases.
• Monitor performance and set up alerts to guarantee zero‑downtime cutovers.
• Collaborate with developers to refactor code for cloud‑native patterns.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with AWS core services and networking.
• Proficient in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Strong DevOps mindset with automation tooling.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Background in legacy system modernization.
