About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is building a next‑generation decentralized finance platform that requires robust, secure smart contracts. As a Senior Blockchain Engineer you will design, develop, and deploy core contract logic that powers token issuance, staking, and automated market making.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Solidity smart contracts following industry best practices.
• Integrate contracts with front‑end dApps using Web3 libraries.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Perform gas optimization and security reviews.
• Collaborate with product and UI teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Document contract interfaces and deployment processes.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of professional blockchain development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Solidity, EVM, and smart contract patterns.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for tooling and scripting.
• Experience with REST API design and integration.
• Strong understanding of security principles and audit processes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Layer‑2 scaling solutions.
• Previous contributions to open‑source blockchain projects.
