Senior CI/CD Pipeline Engineer Needed for CI/CD Pipeline Setup Overhaul

About the role

Orbit Labs is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for a new app store release. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automated delivery pipelines that keep both platforms in sync and ready for rapid iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows for iOS/Android builds and backend services.
• Integrate code quality gates, security scans, and performance tests into pipelines.
• Maintain Docker images and Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments on AWS.
• Collaborate with mobile and backend leads to align versioning, feature flags, and rollout strategies.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve throughput.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend projects.
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (CodeBuild, CodePipeline, EKS).
• Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or Groovy) for automation.
• Understanding of mobile app signing, OTA updates, and backend API versioning.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fastlane or similar mobile automation tools.
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Background in monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
