Senior CI/CD Pipeline Engineer Needed for Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

Pinecrest Systems is modernizing a legacy production platform with a zero‑downtime mandate. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automated delivery pipelines that support continuous integration, testing, and deployment across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows on AWS
• Containerize legacy services with Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes
• Implement blue‑green and canary deployment strategies to meet zero‑downtime goals
• Integrate security scanning, automated testing, and monitoring into pipelines
• Collaborate with developers and ops to refactor scripts and improve release velocity

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building CI/CD pipelines for production workloads
• Deep expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS/EKS, CodePipeline, CloudFormation)
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Shell, Python, or Groovy)
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and version control (Git)

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
