About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and validate hardened infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that meet strict security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing AWS environments for security gaps and apply hardening controls.
• Integrate automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Implement secret management, least‑privilege IAM policies, and network segmentation.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security testing early in the development cycle.
• Document hardened configurations and provide knowledge transfer.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering in AWS.
• Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
• Proven track record of security hardening and compliance.
• Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Nice to have

• Experience with automated vulnerability scanning tools.
• Knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and NIST guidelines.
• Familiarity with serverless security patterns.
