About the role
Silverline Labs is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs a DevOps Engineer to design the foundation for continuous delivery and reliable operations. You will work with a remote‑first team, shaping infrastructure as code and automating the entire release workflow.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, secure AWS environments for a new SaaS platform
- Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for production readiness
- Collaborate with developers to embed DevSecOps practices early in the lifecycle
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM)
- Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Hands‑on expertise building CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
Nice to have
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance (SOC2, ISO27001)
- Familiarity with serverless patterns on AWS
