Senior DevOps Engineer – Scalable Release Engineering

About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a new product line and needs a DevOps Engineer to uplift test automation and cut regression risk before each release. You will design, implement, and fine‑tune pipelines that embed automated testing into the CI/CD flow, ensuring fast, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend CI/CD pipelines on AWS using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Integrate automated UI, API, and performance tests into the deployment process
• Containerize test suites with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test coverage metrics
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve reliability

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in AWS services (ECS/EKS, CodePipeline, CloudWatch)
• Hands‑on CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python) for test automation orchestration

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium, Cypress or similar UI test frameworks
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
