Senior Docker Kubernetes Specialist for Enterprise Release Pipeline Hardening

About the role

We are modernizing a legacy production platform and need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design a zero‑downtime migration strategy. You will work closely with our engineering lead to refactor container orchestration and ensure seamless traffic switchover.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement a blue‑green deployment pipeline using Docker and Kubernetes
• Automate stateful service migration with minimal impact
• Configure health‑checks, probes, and roll‑back mechanisms for high availability
• Collaborate with developers to containerize legacy services and update CI/CD workflows
• Monitor performance and fine‑tune resource allocation during cut‑over

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker containerization
• Advanced Kubernetes administration (clusters, Helm, operators)
• Proven track record of zero‑downtime releases in production

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools
• Familiarity with legacy monolith refactoring
