About the role
TechFlow Inc is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design the core container platform from scratch. You will own the end‑to‑end deployment pipeline, ensuring the service scales reliably in a remote‑first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement a multi‑cluster Kubernetes environment on the cloud provider of choice.
- Create reusable Docker images, helm charts, and CI/CD workflows for automated releases.
- Establish observability, logging, and alerting for all micro‑services.
- Collaborate with developers to containerize legacy components and define best‑practice security policies.
- Document platform standards and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions for the remote team.
Must-have skills
- 5+ years designing production‑grade Kubernetes clusters.
- Deep expertise with Docker image lifecycle and multi‑stage builds.
- Proven experience in Git‑based CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation.
Nice to have
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
- Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure as code.
- Background in monitoring stacks such as Prometheus/Grafana.
