Senior Full Stack Web Developer – Enterprise API Design

About the role

NexGen Media is launching a brand‑new SaaS platform from the ground up. We need a Full Stack Web Developer who thrives in remote‑first teams to shape the core product, from UI to backend services, and deliver a polished MVP.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement responsive front‑end features using React
• Design and expose secure RESTful APIs with NodeJS
• Integrate MongoDB data models and optimize queries for scalability
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA partners via async workflows
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the shared style guide

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building full‑stack applications with React and NodeJS
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and ES6+ syntax
• Hands‑on knowledge of MongoDB schema design and indexing
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP)
• Understanding of micro‑service architecture patterns
