About the role
Silverline Labs is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing iOS services. We need an iOS App Developer who can diagnose bottlenecks, refactor core modules, and implement robust error handling to ensure a smooth user experience under heavy load.
Key responsibilities
- Profile and optimise existing Swift code for speed and memory usage
- Redesign networking layer using efficient REST API patterns
- Introduce comprehensive unit and UI test suites
- Collaborate with backend engineers to align data contracts
- Document performance improvements and provide knowledge transfer
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of Swift development for iOS
- Deep understanding of iOS performance tools (Instruments, Xcode Profiler)
- Proven experience with REST API integration and error handling
- Strong debugging and crash‑analysis skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Combine or RxSwift
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS
- Knowledge of SwiftUI alongside UIKit
