Senior iOS App Developer – Production Backend Scalability

About the role

We are modernizing a high‑traffic legacy production platform and need an iOS App Developer to deliver new features while guaranteeing zero‑downtime deployments. You will work closely with backend engineers to integrate updated services and ensure a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor and extend existing Swift codebase for performance and scalability
• Implement robust networking layers using REST APIs with retry and circuit‑breaker patterns
• Design and execute automated UI tests to protect against regressions
• Collaborate with DevOps to set up blue‑green releases and monitor rollout health
• Document architectural decisions and contribute to technical backlog grooming

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of professional iOS development
• Deep expertise in Swift and modern iOS frameworks
• Proven experience integrating RESTful services and handling offline scenarios
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS apps

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Combine or RxSwift
• Experience with App Store Connect automation
• Background in zero‑downtime deployment strategies
