About the role

We are revamping the performance and reliability of our customer‑facing services. As a Microservices Architect you will design, refactor, and optimize the core service mesh to meet strict latency and uptime targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing microservice architecture and identify bottlenecks
• Define a scalable, fault‑tolerant design using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement service contracts, API gateways, and circuit‑breaker patterns
• Guide the team through CI/CD integration and automated testing
• Monitor key metrics and drive continuous improvement

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice ecosystems
• Strong Java development background
• Proficiency with Docker containerization
• Hands‑on Kubernetes orchestration

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio)
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
