About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a critical integration effort linking billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Microservices Architect to design a resilient, scalable architecture that unifies data flow and supports rapid feature delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservice boundaries and communication patterns for billing, CRM, and internal services
• Design API contracts, versioning strategy, and security model
• Lead containerization strategy using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for service deployments
• Collaborate with product owners to translate business rules into technical specifications

Must-have skills

• Deep experience architecting Java‑based microservices
• Proficiency with Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters
• Strong understanding of REST, gRPC, and event‑driven messaging
• Ability to design fault‑tolerant, high‑throughput systems

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Cloud or Micronaut frameworks
• Knowledge of API gateways like Kong or Envoy
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
