About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is creating a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Microservices Architect to design, implement, and optimize a scalable microservices ecosystem that ingests, processes, and delivers real‑time insights.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall microservices architecture aligned with data‑flow requirements.
• Design RESTful and event‑driven services using Java and containerization.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring for high availability.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless data integration.
• Document architectural decisions, APIs, and operational runbooks.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing microservices at scale.
• Strong Java development background.
• Hands‑on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Understanding of data pipelines, streaming, and analytics workloads.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of security best practices for distributed systems.
