About the role

Summit Digital is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement initiative for its operations teams. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and optimize the database layer that fuels real‑time insights and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable MongoDB schemas tailored to operational data streams
• Build ETL pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data into MongoDB collections
• Implement aggregation pipelines and indexing strategies for fast analytics queries
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and consistency
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and apply tuning best practices

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with MongoDB deployment, sharding, and replica sets
• Proficiency in designing aggregation pipelines and data models for analytics
• Experience integrating MongoDB with Python or Node.js data processing scripts
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and pipeline orchestration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud MongoDB services (Atlas, Cosmos DB)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for database services
