About the role

BrightMart Solutions seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design and implement scalable cloud platforms for a high‑traffic e‑commerce environment. The project focuses on modernizing the CI/CD pipeline and container orchestration to improve release velocity and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy micro‑service infrastructure on AWS using IaC tools.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters with best‑in‑class security and monitoring.
• Design automated CI/CD workflows integrating Git, Docker, and Helm.
• Implement observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) for proactive incident management.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance and cost.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM).
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash/Python for automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures on AWS Lambda.
