Senior PostgreSQL Administrator for Mission-Critical High Availability Setup

About the role

DataPro Services is extending a multi‑tenant B2B platform and needs a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune tenant isolation features. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure data security, performance, and scalability across dozens of active customers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy schema designs that support isolated tenant data
• Implement automated backup, restore, and point‑in‑time recovery for each tenant
• Monitor and tune query performance, indexing, and partitioning strategies
• Develop scripts and CI pipelines for schema migrations in a multi‑tenant context
• Collaborate on security hardening, role‑based access, and audit logging

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Deep knowledge of multi‑tenant architecture patterns
• Expertise with replication, sharding, and high‑availability setups
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python or PL/pgSQL)

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB or MySQL for cross‑database reporting
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins
