About the role

CloudWave Digital is extending a multi‑tenant B2B product with new data isolation features. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune tenant‑specific schemas, ensuring performance and security across shared resources.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy multi‑tenant database structures for the product.
• Configure logical replication and partitioning to isolate tenant workloads.
• Implement automated backup, restore, and point‑in‑time recovery procedures.
• Monitor query performance, tune indexes, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with developers to embed migration scripts into CI pipelines.
• Document standards, runbooks, and security guidelines for tenant data.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in SaaS environments.
• Deep knowledge of logical replication, sharding, and role‑based access control.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools for DB provisioning.
• Strong SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB and MySQL for cross‑database reporting.
• Exposure to containerized databases (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certification in PostgreSQL or cloud database services.
