About the role

Cascade Apps is modernizing a high‑traffic legacy production platform that must stay online at all times. We need a TypeScript Developer to redesign core services, introduce type‑safe APIs, and implement zero‑downtime deployment patterns. You will work closely with product owners and DevOps engineers to deliver a future‑proof architecture while preserving existing functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor and rewrite legacy modules in modern TypeScript
• Design and implement stateless services supporting blue‑green releases
• Integrate Angular and React front‑ends with a shared type‑definition library
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee regressions are caught early
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines that enforce zero‑downtime rollouts

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of TypeScript development experience
• Deep knowledge of Angular and React ecosystems
• Proven track record modernizing legacy codebases
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD tools

Nice to have

• Familiarity with serverless architectures
• Understanding of performance monitoring and tuning
• Exposure to container orchestration platforms
