About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a critical product and needs a Terraform Engineer to lead a test automation uplift. The goal is to reduce regression risk before launch by codifying test environments and integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Terraform modules for reproducible test environments on AWS.
• Integrate automated test suites into existing CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define infrastructure requirements for regression testing.
• Document infrastructure as code standards and handover procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot environment provisioning issues during the project.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Terraform in AWS environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on ability to script and automate test environment setup.
• Experience with version control and collaborative IaC workflows.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with popular test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Knowledge of container orchestration (ECS/EKS) for scalable test runs.
