About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a focused sprint to turbo‑charge its CI/CD pipeline and platform automation. We need a Microservices Architect to design the service mesh, streamline deployment workflows, and ensure rapid, reliable releases across our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and document a scalable microservices framework supporting automated CI/CD.
• Define Docker container standards and Kubernetes orchestration patterns for zero‑downtime deployments.
• Integrate version‑control, build, and release tools into a cohesive automation pipeline.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to enforce best practices and resolve bottlenecks.
• Provide hands‑on guidance during the sprint and create knowledge‑transfer artifacts.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing microservices architectures for large‑scale systems.
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Java‑based services.
• Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD).
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Background in automated testing frameworks.
