About the role
We are modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. The .NET Core Developer will refactor critical services, introduce containerization, and ensure zero‑downtime deployments while collaborating with a small, agile team.
Key responsibilities
- Rewrite legacy .NET components to .NET 7 using clean architecture principles
- Design and implement blue‑green deployment pipelines in Azure
- Introduce health‑checks and circuit‑breaker patterns for high availability
- Automate database migration scripts with zero impact
- Mentor junior developers on best practices and code reviews
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with .NET Core and C#
- Proficiency in Azure services (App Service, AKS, DevOps)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD and zero‑downtime deployment strategies
- Experience with micro‑service refactoring and containerization
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Terraform or Bicep for infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ messaging
- Background in performance tuning legacy systems
