About the role
Northbay Systems is enhancing its release process with a focused test automation uplift. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and integrate automated test frameworks that lower regression risk before each launch.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and provision AWS environments for CI/CD pipelines
- Build reusable test automation scripts using Python or JavaScript
- Integrate test suites with existing Jenkins/GitHub Actions workflows
- Monitor and report test coverage and flakiness metrics
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to refine test cases
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in Docker containerization
- Solid DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling
- Linux administration and scripting
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright
- Knowledge of performance testing tools
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks beyond CloudFormation
