About the role

TechFlow Inc is preparing a major app store launch and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to align mobile and backend services. You will shape the cloud foundation that powers real‑time data sync, authentication, and CI/CD pipelines for the upcoming release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and provision scalable AWS resources (VPC, RDS, S3, Lambda) tailored for mobile backend traffic.
• Implement CI/CD workflows using CodePipeline and Docker containers for rapid feature delivery.
• Optimize networking and security groups to ensure low‑latency connections between mobile SDKs and backend APIs.
• Collaborate with mobile developers to fine‑tune API gateways and monitor performance metrics.
• Document infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of Linux environments and scripting.
• DevOps mindset with automated testing and deployment pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with mobile backend patterns (push notifications, offline sync).
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
