About the role

We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team for a focused project building a scalable microservice that handles user authentication and data processing. The work will involve designing robust APIs and integrating with existing services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using NodeJS
• Develop database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL
• Ensure code quality with testing and code reviews
• Optimize performance and scalability of backend services
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to define API contracts
• Maintain documentation and technical specifications

Must-have skills

• NodeJS development experience
• Strong JavaScript proficiency
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL knowledge
• Design and implementation of REST APIs
• Understanding of microservice architecture

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
