CI/CD Pipeline Engineer – Infrastructure Setup Overhaul

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a greenfield SaaS product with a fully remote team. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and own the end‑to‑end delivery workflow for our micro‑service architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a scalable CI/CD pipeline on AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments via Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and performance checks into the pipeline
• Collaborate with developers to streamline build processes and reduce lead time
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve reliability

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native apps
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS/EKS, CodePipeline, CloudWatch)
• Solid scripting/automation skills (Shell, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of Git workflows, version control, and artifact repositories

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Familiarity with Helm charts and service mesh concepts
• Background in monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
